 Hello! I am Alena Roshko, editor for this web-page and translator for the Rule of Law Institute.



Actually, I am busy with lots of different things for the Institute such as editing, contacting our foreign colleagues, translating, creating this page.


Currently, we are busy with preparation for the European Social Forum (17-21 September, 2008, Sweden, Malmo), where we are going to hold a joint seminar with our European colleagues on a vitally important theme connected with the North Caucasus and Chechnya conflict. I am proud of the opportunity for the Institute to participate for the first time in such a significant event.


Unfortunately, due to lack of staff we do not have enough time to cover all the latest events as we do on the Russian page of our website, but we are trying to do our best.


In fact, idea to create English page for www.ruleoflaw.ru has appeared very recently. So, please, do not judge us very strictly! We are doing our best to make it informative and useful for you!
